Stainless Steel Panels

This company provides panels that are made from mainly the 200 and 300 series of stainless steel. Stainless steel can be fully recycled and does not has harmful emission. The panels do not contain VOCs or require special types of chemical coating and are long lasting, which makes them suitable to be used in building envelopes. They come in different types of finishes, each having different light reflecting properties. They can be used as reflectors, too.

However, the company lacks environmental and production details in its website, which makes the recycling process and the chance of their own products being recycled by themselves unknown. Also, they have not mentioned anything about energy and resouces reduction technology or procedures in their production plants.

The percentage that can be recycled for stainless steel is very high, and hence a small amount of raw materials are only needed to be used for the production of stainless steel. The panels can be salvaged and re-used by other companies in China.
